Annual Pilgrimage

The Master Naba Memorial Pilgrimage Year 413 (2013 – 2014)
The Earth Center’s Annual Pilgrimage is unique for many reasons. The EC offers the only annual spiritual pilgrimage to humanity’s homeland, the cradle of human civilization: Meritah (Africa). While the world religions lead many pilgrimages, none of them bring our sights and attention to the Ancestral culture and spirituality of our common roots.

The Kemetic year 413 marked the five year anniversary of Master Naba’s death. In Kemetic society, when somebody passes away, there are many steps in the spirit’s transition. One of those steps is the 5 year anniversary of the death. In this ceremony we not only honor that Ancestor, but we honor the Ancestors who preceded them, as well as their achievements in life. This ceremony is called the Liiya Ouidii. (Mourning Ceremony).

The founder of The Earth Center, Master Naba Lamoussa Morodenibig’s existence alone serves as one of the certainties that our Ancestors mastered philosophy and spirituality. As one of the most well-respected Spiritual leaders of our time, Master Naba dedicated his life to re-establishing the original culture and initiation into colonial societies around the globe. This fantastic feat is still being realized through the continued work of The Earth Center and his disciples. During the year 413 pilgrimage The Earth Center paid homage to this great Messenger of the World of the Dead along with his disciples who transitioned while working to fulfill the same goal.

The pilgrimage began at The Earth Center in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso established by Master Naba. Pilgrims traveled to many sacred sites, temples, traditional museums, historic sites, (triangle trade routes), traditional festivals and cultural treasures throughout the countries of Burkina Faso, Togo and Benin.
